Farnborough 2022: JKL Sales had a very successful week at the Farnborough Air Show 2022. Aside from the record-breaking heat and the long bus lines, the entirety of the aerospace community seemed happy and eager to reconnect once again. All of the major OEMs, Tier 1’s, and start-ups were exhibiting, as well as numerous military and commercial aircraft displays.
There were a number of aircraft sales announced during the show. The most notable order was from Delta Airlines for 100 Boeing 737-MAX 10 airplanes. Boeing also secured orders from Qatar Airways (25 MAX 10’s), All Nippon Airlines (20 MAX 8’s), and Aviation Capital Group (12 MAX 8’s). Airbus and Embraer also secured several orders during the airshow.
Some of the largest AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) companies were also displaying their aircraft. Wisk (USA) and Vertical Aerospace (UK) were displaying their prototype aircraft during the show. Lilium (Germany) also had a very impressive display at entrance of the airshow.
